One of the surgeons (Dr L) I'm interested in has a lovely practice manager (she's a surgical nurse herself and also his wife) that I had an appointment with today. She was very informative and helpful and talked with me for about an hour with no charge, alot of other practices charge a considerable fee to meet with a nurse (which you cant claim back from medicare) to discuss the surgery. She was very open and I really like their approach to the surgery, its very wholistic and includes physcology, dieticians and exercise physiology sessions pre and post surgery.
At the end of the session I told her that I just needed to get my GP referral then I would make an appointment to see Dr L.
